Berlin, January 18, 2005 - Testing Technologies announces
the release of the first Java based integrated development
environment for TTCN-3, named TTworkbench and based on the
open source platform Eclipse, in early February.
TTCN-3 is the only international standardized test specification
and implementation language for the universal testing of telecom
and datacom networks as well as black and grey box testing.
It is used for regression-, conformance- and software-simulated
load and stress testing for applications ranging from
VoIP (SIP, Megaco / H248, M3UA ) to UMTS, MOST, CORBA to WLAN.
Amongst other features, and due to TTworkbench's powerful
integrated architecture, the editor allows for faster development
or modification of textual and graphical test cases. The integrated
compiler enables context-sensitive editing and automated highlighting
of syntax errors within the application.
The product will be available in three packages; TTworkbench
Basic, TTworkbench Professional and TTworkbench Enterprise.
The flagship version TTworkbench Enterprise contains, next
to plenty of other options, modules for distributed testing.
The typical users of this software can be found in testing
departments from telecom operators and equipment manufacturers.
