The enhancements introduced by the latest release of TTworkbench
versions were mainly driven by requirements to improve test
designers' productivity and to shorten turn-around times.
The
new TTCN-3 template generation and modification wizard guides
test designers through the time-consuming task of
defining test data. A comprehensive wizard outlines the structure
of data types and helps defining valid TTCN-3 data.
It is also capable of working on existing templates, and
thus enables test designers to use existing test data more
efficiently.
Other features like renaming, quick fix support
or the extended hover functionality all target the same goal:
making error-prone
tasks more efficient.
Especially in the test development
phase, short turn-around times are crucial. Test developers
should immediately experience
the effect of modifications.
One bottle neck was the compile
time, which has been significantly reduced with the latest
performance increase of TTworkbench.
Together with usability enhancements in the Test Execution
Management, it is now possible to reduce the turn-around
time by up to 70 percent.
