With the latest release of TTworkbench,
Testing Technologies was first to market a TTCN-3 test tool
with the ability to export TTCN-3 documentation in HTML.
The functionality called T3Doc enables TTworkbench users
to generate TTCN-3 documentation (like Javadoc) as HTML documents.
This new feature includes using
the documentation on
the fly on mouse hovers. Several TTCN-3 tags like author,
version, exception, parameter, description etc. are provided
for documentation purposes. They can
be used in all TTCN-3
constructs, especially in test cases and functions. The documentation,
index and overview page shows a group view with summary and
details like you know from Javadoc.
Beyond that, there is another new feature integrated in TTworkbench,
TTdebug. It checks test suites by fast and efficient tracking
of bugs. Transparent debugging of TTCN-3 modules and Java-based
test adapters/codecs at the same time is now possible. TTdebug
also includes a GUI based setting of breakpoints on TTCN-3
source code level. Like in common debuggers the functionality
to step into/over, return to the TTCN-3 module and to view
the status of several components or timers is available.
Due to the performance increase of the graphical logging
output, a precise test trace is now possible and users are
provided with test results faster. The improved graphical
logging filter enables a simpler analysis of test results
by displaying them reduced to the essential.
The newly released TTworkbench provides customers with a
comprehensive test tool that features fast debugging, efficient
documentation
and specific analysis.
