Testing Technologies and Tektronix Present IMS Interoperability Test Suite at VON Europe

June 11-14, 2007, Stockholm (Sweden)

During the VON Europe, the IP Communications Industry Event in Stockholm, Testing Technologies and Tektronix will demonstrate the K1297-G35 IMS Interoperability Test Suite, a functional test solution for IMS Networks.

The test suite consists of around 100 test cases for IMS components like P-CSCF and I-CSCF. They cover generic registration, Peer-to-Peer, PoC, TBCP, XDMS and Diameter/ COPS test behavior.

Test cases were carefully designed to focus on procedures which are complex and likely to cause interoperability problems. The abstract test suite implementation is in TTCN-3, the global open standard for test case definition.
TTCN-3 allows a high degree of test automation, boosting the efficiency of IMS device and system test campaigns, but also significantly reduces test time (time to market) and test cost.

The IMS Test Suite is executed inside the TTworkbench application, a graphical test development environment provided by Testing Technologies. TTworkbench enables user-friendly test definition, execution and analysis. All test traffic is captured and decoded through the G20/G35 analysis software, allowing for rapid root cause isolation of failed test scenarios.
