TTplugin WSDL – Web Service Definition Language

TTplugin WSDL was granted the Innovation Award 2008

WSDL is an XML format for describing network services as a set of endpoints operating on messages which contain either document-oriented or procedure-oriented information. WSDL is extensible to allow description of endpoints and their messages, regardless of what message formats or network protocols are used to communicate. WSDL service definitions provide documentation for distributed systems and serve as a recipe for automating the details involved in applications communication.
This WSDL plugin enables TTworkbench users to instantly access WSDL/SOAP based web services, and to include this access into their test scenarios. With Testing Technologies' plugin mechanism this feature can be used seamlessly within any TTCN-3 test application.

Highlights/Features:
  • Automatic import of WSDL specifications into TTCN-3
  • Testing of invalid parameter values, i.e. out-of-bounds parameters
  • Access different web services at the same time, from same components or different components
  • Support of
    • HTTPS with SSL certificates
    • HTTP header configuration
    • SOAP header configuration
  • Multiple test components and multiple-port mapping
  • Freely combinable with additional test access (TTplugins)
  • W3C Web Service Description Language (WSDL) v1.1
  • W3C SOAP v1.1 and v1.2 Candidate Recommendation
