a new maintenance release of TTworkbench, the TTCN-3 IDE, is now available for download. The new version number is TTworkbench 1.1.2. The release brings many feature enhancements as well as an improved runtime performance for TTworkbench.

In order to increase your flexibility, we have re-organized our TTworkbench editions. TTworkbench will now be available as:

• TTworkbench Express
• TTworkbench Basic
• TTworkbench Professional

Our new entry version TTworkbench Express is targeted at customers who need a powerful test execution management environment without the burden of a full development platform. TTworkbench Express provides all features for fast and easy test execution and test result analysis.

TTworkbench Enterprise will be withdrawn as a separate edition. Along with the distributed test execution management, TTmex will be offered as an optional plugin, combinable with all TTworkbench editions. Customers of TTworkbench simply download TTworkbench Professional and afterwards the distributed test execution environment TTmex.

Please Note:

• TTworkbench is not compatible with current versions of our TTsuite product line. You will get informed separately if the respective TTsuite product is available.
• The first build of existing workspaces might take some time, due to new TTCN-3 builder.
• Users of TTworkbench 64bit have to use SUN's 64bit JVM 1.6x for Ant execution (alternatively IBM or BEA's JRockit 64bit JVMs).
• Support for already deprecated features will be terminated for
  • Proprietary logging LoggingInterface and TXILoggingInterface with next release scheduled for December 2007
  • MLF configuration files with first release in 2008
