a new maintenance release of TTworkbench, the TTCN-3 IDE, is now available for download. The new version number is TTworkbench 1.1.3.

This release brings new port plugins and many feature enhancements for TTworkbench. With Testing Technologies' TTplugin concept you can easily extend TTworkbench to match your specific test application requirements.

Please Note:

TTworkbench 1.1.3 is based on Eclipse 3.3.1.1. Thus, you have to uninstall your current TTworkbench version first, and afterwards install the new release. Your workspace will be preserved. An update via TTworkbench update site is not possible.

TTCN-3 Compiler (TTthree)

• Additional JVM options can be configured for the internal Eclipse Java compiler
  and for the local compiler server

Test Execution (TTman)

• Following source code function for textual and graphical logging
• Runtime plugin support for SUT actions and test case parameter server
• Added content assist for module parameter references used as test adapter parameters
• Added content assist for system port names when adding a new TA parameter set
• Single run button for running test cases and module control part
• Eight additional logging methods (send/call/reply/raise events and respective multicast events) providing logging of address

TTCN-3 Debugger (TTdebug)

• Stepping with active timers
• Start debugging directly via debug button in Management View
• Enable Debugger by default in preferences
• Displaying content of template variables
• Inline editing of basic values in Variables View

WSDL Support with SOAP Binding

• Logging of SOAP messages as INFO
• Optional dumping of SOAP messages to console
  (using Java system property "-DWsdlPlugin.debug=true")
• Improvement of error handling

Update of TTworkbench Express/Basic/Professional

You can download TTworkbench with your already given Reference ID via home page ONLY. Updating via TTworkbench update site is not possible with this version!

• Users of TTworkbench 64bit have to use SUN's 64bit JVM 1.6x for Ant execution
  (alternatively IBM or BEA's JRockit 64bit JVMs).

  • Proprietary logging LoggingInterface and TXILoggingInterface with this release
  • MLF configuration files with the first release in 2008
