a new maintenance release of TTworkbench, bringing many feature enhancements, is now available for download. The new version number is TTworkbench 1.1.4.

Please Note:

  • TTworkbench is not compatible with current versions of our TTsuite product line. You will get informed separately when the respective TTsuite product update is available.
  • Generation and usage of "MLF configuration files" will not be supported anymore.

TTCN-3 Core Language Editor (CL Editor)

  • Outline with grouped mode, e.g. TTCN-3 category "function test case"
  • Structured view for compare editor and refactoring preview
  • Enhanced feature configuration of TTCN-3 formatting

TTCN-3 Compiler (TTthree)

  • More rigorous value/template checking to avoid runtime-errors if templates have
    been incorrectly used
    Note: Please check the templates in case the test suite prevents from compilation.
  • New option to enforce strict standard compliance
  • New option to implicitly import built-in auxiliary modules (like ASNAUX) into all modules
    which do not explicitly import the respective modules

Test Execution (TTman)

  • T3Doc description tags are now used in CLF default generation
  • New extensible DumpView with open developer interface
  • XML DumpView
  • Improved performance of loading CLF if a JDK is available instead of a JRE
  • Media attachments in TTCN-3 logs
  • Copy and paste from textual logging output
  • Enhanced generation of test reports
    • Directly from log files via TTman command line tool
    • For selected test cases via context menu

TTCN-3 Debugger (TTdebug)

  • Port Queues View
    • Basic View
    • Changing message order
  • Import/export of breakpoints
  • Automatically moving breakpoints if set in an invalid line
  • Hitcount for breakpoints/watchpoints

IDL Plugin

  • Improved IDL import resolution
  • Support of valuetype construct
  • Implicit import of IDLAUX

ASN.1 Plugin

  • ASN.1 modules can now be imported without referencing defining files
  • Implicit import of ASNAUX

WSDL Plugin

  • Implicit import of WSDLAUX
  • Optional use of a separate Socket Factory
    • Speeds up the closing of TCP connections by seting SO_LINGER socket option to zero

You can download TTworkbench with your already given Reference ID:

(a) Via Update Site

  • Choose the menu item 'Help' in TTworkbench and follow 'Software Updates'/'Find
    and Install'/'Search for updates of the currently installed features'
  • Enter 'TTwb' as user name and your TTworkbench Reference ID as password
  • Choose TTworkbench product
  • Select TTworkbench
  • Accept license and update files
