Testing Technologies has expanded its TTsuite product line by TTsuite-M2PA, the test suite for analyzing the M2PA peers.

M2PA supports the transport of Signaling System Number 7 (SS7) Message Transfer Part (MTP) Level 3 signaling messages over Internet Protocol  (IP) using the services of the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP). This protocol is employed between SS7 Signaling Points using the MTP Level 3 protocol, e.g. between Signaling Gateways (SG) and Media Gateway Controllers (MGC), SGs and an IP Signaling Points (IPSP), or between IPSPs.

TTsuite-M2PA provides a set of detailed tests of the SS7 MTP2-User Peer-to-Peer Adaptation Layer (M2PA) based on the test specifications for SS7 MTP Level 2 (Q.781). These tests are intended to validate the SS7 MTP2-User Peer-to-Peer Adaptation Layer (M2PA) protocol.
