we are pleased to announce the new release of our test automation platform TTworkbench, version 12. TTworkbench 12 comes with full support of TTCN-3 extension package Realtime and Performance Testing, a lot of new features as well as usability and performance enhancements for huge test suites.

The new TTplugin Protobuf provides a full data integration including codec generation for Protocol Buffers - Google's data interchange format.

Please Note:

TTworkbench 12 is not compatible with current versions of our TTsuite and TTplugin product line. While TTplugin updates are available on our download and update site, you will get informed separately as soon as the respective TTsuite product update is available.

TTworkbench 12 requires Java 6. We recommend installing Oracle’s Java 6 JDK Standard Edition.

(a) Via Update Site

• In the TTworkbench menu, choose the item 'Help' and follow 'Install New Software...'.
• Enter 'TTwb' as user name and your TTworkbench Reference ID as password.
• Click on the link 'Available Software Sites'. Choose 'Testing Technologies Update Site' if available. Otherwise add such a site with location http://update.testingtech.com/.
• Click 'Work with' and choose 'Testing Technologies Update Site'.
• Shortly after, your available updates (TTsuites and TTplugins) are shown. Select the ones to be installed and press 'Next'.
• Accept the terms of license agreements.
