In June 2005 ETSI has published the TTCN-3 standard's edition 3 with many new features. Some of the benefits are

Testing Technologies has adapted its products and solutions to Edition 3 to provide customers with the full potential of improved features.
The upgrade from an earlier to the new release of TTCN-3 flows smoothly. Testing Tech's TTCN-3 compiler supports all editions, thus it is possible to mix modules of edition 2 with new ones of edition 3.
